Dear New Bern,
I would first like to begin by saying that the health and safety of our associates and community is a top priority of us. We have always had very specific sanitation procedures in place but due to the current health concerns we are currently facing we have increased our efforts. These are our steps that we are currently taking to ensure the health of everyone.
We are spraying a light mist of germicidal bleach solution on
ALL walls, door handles and any other contact surface multiple times a day.
We are mopping our floors with the same solution.
We are moving from a Quat solution to the same germicidal solution for all tables, chairs and menus.
All of our menus are wiped after every use.
We are moving from a linen fabric napkin to single use linen like napkin.
All straws will now be opened by the guest and not our servers.
Any staff member who is feverish or general not feeling well will immediately be sent home and not be allowed to return to work until cleared by a medical professional.
All associates who will be traveling out of the state or country is being instructed to make phone contact with us upon their return and a plan will be put into place before they will be allowed to return to work.
We have also implemented the 6ft rule in our dinning spaces to comply with the recommendations from the CDC.
We are also working on an new economical menu and take out program for lunch and dinner and using our covered patio and parking lot as a staging location for pick up! This new option should be in place by this coming weekend March 20th or no later than Monday March 23rd.
Effective immediately we will be offering a 15% discount on take out orders from 11:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
We are closely monitoring the situation and staying up to date with the advice given out by the CDC. We taking every precaution to ensure your experience with us is a healthy and positive one!
